Butterfly Block

Just finished this double knit butterfly stranded color work block. I haven't decided what i'm going to make with it, but you can knit it in cotton for a dishcloth or potholder, or in wool and felt it for a bag front. You can also use it as an afghan block, pillow top, or wall hanging. I hope you like it.  Send me pics of this project knitted up and i'll put it in my guest gallery - coming soon!

Bunny Block

This cute little bunny stranded color work double knit pattern can be used for a number of different things. Use cotton yarn double stranded for a pot holder, or acrylic yarn to make an oversized coaster or small wall hanging. Add more rows to the outside to make a panel for a baby blanket and use a soft or fuzzy yarn for the bunny color to make it “pettable” for a small child.

This design just won 2nd in a 3-way tie in the Authentic Knitting Board pattern writing contest!

Bunny Dishcloth

Knitted Bunny Dishcloth or Potholder.  Made from 100% cotton yarn on a fine gauge double rake loom.  I hope you like it.  Please send picture if you knit this up for my guest gallery.  Grand Prize winner in the Markman Farm Pattern Writing Contest (Aug 09)

Flower Pot Pillow

Here is a pillow design that I created as a birthday present for my mom.  It would also make a great Mother's Day present.  Pattern was created on a 28" Authentic Knitting board in double knit.

This design tied for 2nd place in the Markman Farms pattern writing contest (Aug 09).  Please email me pictures for my upcoming guest gallery.
